There are great visions for the future business development in Rødbyhavn, and Panticon has played a key role in uncovering the many opportunities. In collaboration with Lolland Municipality government, Panticon has been involved in analyzing the potential of the area around the tunnel element factory, and the results are promising: The area has the potential to become a central hub for space-intensive businesses, particularly within the green energy sector.
Strategic Location and Strong Interest
What makes this business area unique is its combination of port access and large available land areas, making it ideal for industries that require significant space and logistical efficiency. The studies, which Panticon has contributed to, reveal a clear interest from both Danish and international companies.
From Vision to Concrete Plan
Panticon has helped identify the specific needs of businesses, including space, infrastructure, and supply requirements. Based on the analysis, the municipality government has developed a sketch for how the area can be optimally utilized. The plan includes factories for the production of wind turbine foundations, nacelles, towers, and blades, as well as a power-to-x facility and a CO2 storage plant. Additionally, there are plans for a transport center to support the logistical needs of the business area.
